Chennai, India
A land of over 8 million people, with only 10 percent following Jesus. Although India is 75 percent village life, the four major cities of India (Mumbai, Dehli, Calcutta, and Chennai) are rapidly growing. It is estimated that in Chennai over 30,000 move into the city each month....and the LORD calls out for men and women to share the Gospel of the Kingdom with this vast number of people.
So then it is absolutely essential that the local believers, pastors, and bible women are trained, empowered, and supported to reach in the millions of Chennai. Yesuway Jeevan Mission seeks to come alongside believers who are sharing the Gospel of the Kingdom by offering teaching, training, prayer, literature/tracts, and mutual thinking on how to best support the ministries.
Please PRAY for more believers to hear the call to reach out and share with their neighbors, family members, and co-workers. Also PRAY to the LORD of the harvest for more workers who are willing to be self supporting and upright in their dealings. PRAY for workers who are willing to seek training while doing the works of the ministry without being given buildings, land, or cars. Many workers are hungry for the lost of Chennai, so please help us help them by your PRAYERS.
